Delivery

Pieces from my Online Store are generally available for immediate dispatch. I will resize rings to your preferred size and add personalised engravings on request.

All other jewellery is made to your order, size and personalisation requests. I will give you an estimated completion date once I receive your order and I will always keep you informed of the progress. If you need something urgently, for example, a last minute gift, please do contact me and I will always try my best to get it to you on time.

 

Do let me know if you would like me to post an item you ordered to your chosen recipient directly. I can include handwritten gift messages.

 

Delivery Costs & Methods

For Online Store pieces, delivery and packaging rate varies according to the destination and will be displayed when you input the desired address. Currently it is £7.50 for UK mainland orders, which includes postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery, insured up to £500. Delivery is available worldwide. Please contact me if your desired destination is not displayed.

Customers are welcome to visit my studio in the New Forest to collect their pieces. I would especially recommend this for significant commissions or pieces with tricky sizing (for example, rings specifically designed for arthritic fingers). However, if this is more convenient for you, I will post any piece within the UK or internationally on your request.

For custom made pieces, I will let you know the delivery cost at the time you place your order. This depends on the item value, size and destination. Generally, UK orders are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service guarantees delivery by 1pm the day after dispatch and requires a signature on delivery. International orders are sent by an equivalent international method.

Non-EU parcels require a customs form to be attached. Any customs fees incurred are the customer's responsibility.

 

Returns

I take every possible care to ensure that your jewellery arrives safely, but if there has been damage caused in transit please contact me within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.

All of my jewellery is handmade - so every piece is unique.

For the Online Store orders, you will receive the exact piece described in the listing and pictured in the photographs.

For orders from Lightwave Jewellery Collections, your piece will be very similar to the photographed piece, but not identical. This also applies to earring pairs - each earring will be unique and not identical/symmetrical. Please let me know if you prefer a certain shape or variation. Every gemstone is unique, so please let me know if you prefer a particular colour or shape of gemstone. Variations in pieces due to the handmade process are not a valid reason for returning your jewellery.

 

Following the UK Distance Selling Regulations:

  • Goods must be returned within 14 calendar days of cancellation.

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of the return of the goods and payments made using the same method as you used to pay for your order.

  • Return postage costs can only be refunded if the item was faulty or an incorrect item was sent to you.

  • Please remember to get proof of posting and obtain adequate level of insurance for the item your return.

  • You are liable for any diminished value of the jewellery resulting from handling in any other way than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning while you are responsible for it. This includes when the jewellery is in transit back to me.

  • Pierced earrings are non-refundable for health and safety reasons.

  • Bespoke items, such as items made to your size, with stones of your choice or with any other personalisation, or commissioned pieces, cannot be refunded or exchanged.

  • Gift certificates are non-refundable.

Courses 

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

  • Courses or private tuition are non refundable within 30 calendar days of the date of the course/private tuition.

  • Courses and private tuition cancelled prior to 30 calendar days of the date of the course/private tuition can be rebooked to another mutually convenient date within 6 months of the original course/private tuition date.
